General Information

District boundaries include the towns of Brush Prairie, Yacolt, Amboy and Battle Ground. The district includes six primary schools, five middle schools and three high schools. The district also has Homelink for home-school families and the Center for Agriculture, Science and Environmental Education.

Area: The school district covers 325 square miles of rural Clark County.

Population: The district serves more than 13,000 students.

Mission: The mission of the Battle Ground School District #119 is to unite the community together and prepare students to be resourceful citizens in an ever-changing world by providing relevant and challenging experiences that create excitement for learning.

The school district is governed by a five-member citizen school board, and advised at the local level by site-based councils (Program Delivery Councils) in each school. Schools are actively involved in restructuring plans to better equip students for life and work in the 21st century.
