Utility DistrictsClark Public Utilities is a customer-owned utility providing electric and water service in Clark County, Washington. A municipal corporation organized under the laws of the state of Washington, the utility was formed by a vote of the people in 1938. The utility provides electric service to more than 177,000 customers and water service to around 29,500 homes and businesses. Clark Regional Wastewater District Clark Regional Wastewater District has not operated a sewage treatment facility since 1975, and currently contracts with Clark County Public Works and the City of Vancouver for treatment services. These costs represent approximately 60 percent of the annual operating budget.
